The Day has Arrived

Today is a travel day - and it will be a llllllloooooooonnnnnnnggggggg travel day.

Dave delivered us to the airport just before 7:30 this morning, and we left Toronto at 9:30, right on time, with Air Canada Jazz.  With a 1-hour time change, we arrived in Minneapolis, about 10:30.  We got to hang out there at the airport until almost 2 pm for our 2:20 United flight to San Francisco.

So there's downtown Minneapolis in the distance.  I don't know about the guy in the cockpit of the plane.  Seems a little odd to me.  Hmmm.



This is for you, Andrea & Chris.  I guess In.Motion doesn't have a monopoly on the name???

And what's this?  I didn't think we were in Fiji yet - I can almost guarantee Minneapolis is not the new Fiji.

So there was this moose there at the Minnesota store.  And then there was this big brown thing with antlers too!  (Haha - just kidding, Gerard.)

We took off for San Francisco around 3 pm Central time and arrived around 5 pm Pacific time.  A little late, but it doesn't really matter.  Beautiful sights while flying over the Rockies.

This ridge of mountains was closer to the coast.

And then we saw these.........CROP CIRCLES!  Aliens!!!  Proof they exist.

 

Well, we're boarding for our flight to Auckland in about 10-15 minutes, so I must sign off for now.  My next update will be from New Zealand.
