Sunday morning, Nov 8, we will be on our way to New Zealand! It's a series of flights to get there, the longest being a 15-hour flight from San Francisco to Auckland.
We have a few things to get done before we leave, not the least of which is my KWCO concert the night before! I'm very much looking forward to that.
Otherwise, we're pretty much getting our stuff together. We have an itinerary set up by a travel agency in New Zealand. We worked on that over the summer, so now it's just a matter of showing up. When we leave New Zealand, we'll be stopping in Fiji for 3 days, and will be returning home Nov 29.
Here's a picture of where we're going - down in that little corner of the world. It will be similar to our month of May, so we should have some decent weather.
I expect to have wifi wherever we stay, so I should be able to produce a blog pretty much every day, with photos.
Oh, and we'll be 18 hours ahead of you (21 hours ahead for those on the west coast), so we'll know what you'll be doing before you do!
My next blog will probably be sometime on Sunday, Nov 8, from an airport somewhere.
